Qualifying for the São Paulo GP Postponed Due to Bad Weather

Qualifying for the São Paulo Grand Prix could not take place on Saturday and has been postponed to Sunday.

Heavy rain fell on the Autódromo José Carlos Pace between the sprint race and the scheduled start of qualifying at 15:00 local time (18:00 GMT).

As a result, the start of qualifying was repeatedly delayed and then postponed until Sunday morning.

The decision was taken due to the lack of visibility caused by the heavy rain and standing water on parts of the circuit, which made conditions unsafe.

Qualifying has been rescheduled to 7:30am local time (10:30am GMT)) with the race at 12:30pm (3:30pm GMT).
