Composite Laminator (Early/Late Shift)

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our team for a Composite Laminator on the early/late shift.

As a Composite Laminator, your roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day laminating and bagging of semi / structural composite components to the required production targets.

  • Supporting the Team Leaders in their roles as required.

  • Responsible for maintaining good quality of components throughout its production.

  • Working safely, liaising with Team Leaders to ensure all tasks are carried out promptly with the latest Health and Safety requirements.

  • Identifying potential problems in manufacture of components, to minimise delays/ errors in production.

  • Flexibility required at being deployed throughout the composite department.

  • Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the clean room and its associated work areas using TPM.

  • Ensure SAP & time recording bookings are completed accurately and take corrective actions when necessary.

To be successful you will have:

  • A strong technical background in composite laminating, ideally with Virtek laser, SAP experience.

  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.

  • You are expected to lead by example, demonstrating our PRIDE values (Passion, Respect, Innovation, Determination & Excellence).

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities – a quick-thinking promotor.

  • Ability to interpret drawings, technical specifications, and product control documentation.
