We have the ability to run full-size suspension, with corner installations that cover F1, F2, Formula E, plus other series. Full lap replay simulations are possible to validate the integrity of your discs/pads/cooling ducts/electronics. Cooling air flow up to 1.8kg/s. Customisations are possible for your own installation. Using our on-site and off-site rigs, as well as tyre modelling tools, we can generate accurate forces and moments, temperatures and deformed shapes, that can feed into tyre degradation and simulator models. 2D and 3D tyre scanning is available.
Our former Formula One development facility is capable of testing up to 50% scale (F1) models to a maximum speed of 48m/s. A standalone facility in Silverstone, Northants, security and confidentiality is guaranteed, boasting a dedicated engineering team ready to take on a wide range of motorsport, automotive, aerospace and competitive sports projects. We offer class-leading driver-in-loop (DIL) simulation capabilities, honing in on car optimisation, track familiarisation & driver development. Highly accurate modelling of current F1 & F2 cars, that can be adapted to other series.
This rig enables the verification of vehicle dynamics and ride characteristics, replicating simulated or measured track running data. The dynamic capacity of our four wheel actuators is up to 24.75kN per wheel at a working stroke of +/-75mm. The dynamic capacity of our three aero loading actuators is up to 20kN per loader. Vehicles of wheelbase up to 4000mm and track up to 1700mm can be accommodated. Our I/O options include up to 72 analogue inputs, upgradable if required. We can also perform detailed system vibration and modal data acquisition, processing and analysis via accelerometer instrumentation, depending on customer requirements.
