Composite Stock Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring stock levels and usage using SAP, ensuring that material is available as required to meet production plans.

  • Receive and process deliveries of composite materials and consumables

  • Maintain kanban stock levels in operational areas

  • Develop effective relationship with purchasing and planning teams to ensure materials are available as required.

  • Generate accurate material stock and usage reports, analysing data and highlighting any supply risks

  • Proactively reorder materials and consumables to avoid shortages.

  • Manage material life and batch information for any perishable materials, identifying any risks ahead of time.

  • Document material movements, ensuring traceability and compliance.

  • Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects from storage to operational areas repeatedly throughout the shift, following proper safety procedures.

  • Actively participate in continuous improvement projects and problem-solving activities within the department.

  • Develop standard operating procedures for key material management processes

  • Participate in internal and external inventory audits

  • Coordinate material storage requests both on and off- site

Additional Skills:

  • Hands on experience in a fast-paced composite manufacturing environment

  • Good communication skills both written and verbal. Confident in communicating across all levels of an organisation.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders

  • IT skills – confident using MS office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, PowerBI). Working knowledge of SAP a distinct advantage.

  • Experience in generating and analysing reports

  • Well organised, thorough with keen eye for detail

  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

  • Forklift licence
