Lewis: 10 Caps to Celebrate 10 Years

Marking a remarkable milestone with a cap collection like no other

Earlier this year, Lewis Hamilton reached his 10-year anniversary with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team. A partnership that’s yielded six Drivers’ titles and eight Constructors’ Championships.

To celebrate a decade working together, Lewis created an epic 10-piece cap collection for the 2023 season, each with their own striking colour. But all sharing the same shape, logos and pattern.

The theme for the collection is ‘Spread Colour, Spread Love’ – aimed at commemorating this milestone in Lewis and the Team’s history, while also embracing Lewis’ love of colour.

The hope is that the range of colour options will also enables our fans to find one that they identify with and that really expresses who they are. Whether that’s blue, red, black, purple. There’s something for everyone.

All the caps in the 2023 collection feature the classic elements – the Mercedes-Benz logo sits front and centre, with the other logos to the side and the back of the caps.

But they also feature a striking houndstooth pattern which is a nod to Lewis’ British heritage. A closer look at the print shows that it’s been created with a number that’s defined his journey: 44.

The pattern, for Lewis, “is a symbol of how our unique identities can collectively define moments and movements that are greater than us.”

Lewis loves colour and is bold with the colours he chooses to wear. That is what has inspired the wide range of shades in his cap collection.

The colour palette mixes bright neons with more understated hues and classic team staples. Hopefully empowering others to have fun and be confident with the colours they choose to wear.

Some caps were released as Special Editions for specific races. The Neon Pink matched the vibrancy of Miami, while the Neon Yellow matches Lewis’ driver number and helmet colours. So it was only natural it was released in Canada – were Lewis scored his first F1 win, and one of his most successful tracks.

The Neon Green was released ahead of the British GP and it was great to see so many of them dotted around the grandstands at Silverstone over the weekend. A pop of colour amongst the sea of fans.

Meanwhile the Lewis and team colours of Purple, Black and White are essentials for your collection and go perfectly with your team merch.

Plus, there are some more subdued but equally stylish shades, such as the Blue, Red, Natural and Peach. A colour for every mood! And a chance to embrace colour, like Lewis does in his outfits.
