It’s every F1 fan’s favourite time of year again.

Nope, not the start of the season, rather the launch of the latest season of Drive To Survive, the fly-on-the-wall Netflix documentary series that has enticed millions of new fans around the world into our sport since its debut on our screens six years ago.

Showcasing all the behind-the-scenes drama and on-track excitement of a Formula One season, here’s what you can expect from two episodes that feature the team prominently when the latest series drops on Friday, 7 March.

The Next Chapter

Episode three of the season ‘Looking Out for Number One’ explores the journey the team takes to setting up the next chapter in our history and searching for a team-mate to join George in W16 for 2025.

Watch on as Toto and Susie Wolff discuss the decision at home over breakfast in Monaco, while Toto continues to explore the options through the course of the 24-race campaign.

Team Leader

As Toto searches for the next Mercedes F1 driver, fans will continue to see the progression of George.

From presenting a PowerPoint to Toto at 16 years old to watching Lewis Hamilton at the British Grand Prix as a youngster, George’s journey to F1 and development while in the sport shines through.

After debriefing an ultimately disappointing weekend for himself at Silverstone with Toto, while freediving in Monaco, George goes to Spa and responds perfectly, using a bold strategy to call from within the cockpit mid-race to cross the finish line first.

“You have given us the confidence for the future,” says Toto in the aftermath of the race, despite the agony of a post-race disqualification cancelling out the tremendous drive.

Scenes at Silverstone

A pole and a win at home – what more could an F1 team wish for?

Follow all the emotions of an incredible weekend at the home of British motorsport with the team, including George’s stunning pole lap, and Lewis’ record-breaking ninth victory at the circuit.

‘What Have You Raised?!’

The search for a new driver continues, and Toto is closing in on a decision.

A day at Imola with the Antonelli family watching Kimi drive around his home track in a Mercedes-AMG follows.

Toto watches the stopwatch in amazement, turning to Kimi’s father to ask ‘what have you raised?!’

It's at that point, the Drive to Survive fans will meet the youngest driver to ever grace that famous Netflix chair –Kimi Antonelli.

Of course, the cameras were right there to capture the moment 18-year-old Kimi found out he’d be lining up alongside George for 2025.

Singapore Stars

New for Season 7, episode seven of 2025 ‘Into the Heat of the Night’ will offer fans a whole new perspective – an episode filmed almost entirely through the eyes of the drivers themselves.

Close friends George, Alex Albon, Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc and Pierre Gasly take you through their weekends in Singapore, influencer style!

From finding out what George packs in his suitcase, to how a Singapore weekend works – get ready for blackout hotel blinds, 2pm alarms and a bit of midnight Padel – the episode goes behind the scenes of the behind-the-scenes!

Set foot on the Drivers’ parade with the rest of the F1 grid, and spend time between the sessions with George and Carmen, as the pair unwind with a midnight swim, debriefing a difficult day on track before Sunday’s Grand Prix.

‘It’s Brutal, But That’s Racing’

As the quintet tell their different stories through the four days in Marina Bay, one thing remains constant – the intensity an F1 driver experiences when tackling the streets of Singapore.

One of the toughest races of the year, with 90% humidity and cockpit temperatures of up to 60 degrees Celsius, and you’ll see just what effect that can have on even the most high-performing of athletes.

As George remarks: “I lost 4kg that day., It’s brutal, but that’s racing.”

Gear up, then, for another dramatic season of everyone’s favourite sports documentary series!
