What do you get when you cross one of the world’s most iconic cities with the fastest sport on the planet? Say hello to the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

While the circuit provides a racing spectacle like no other on the track, we aim to host a party like no other off it.

Las Vegas gives the team a chance to demonstrate its hospitality prowess with its world-class Las Vegas Club, a high-quality entertainment experience that will keep the party going for ticketed guests all the way through the weekend.

We spoke to our Head of Hospitality and Events Sarah Morgan, to find out more about Las Vegas Club, what makes it so special, and the immense work from the team that goes in to making it happen.

What Is Las Vegas Club?

“Las Vegas Club is where the buzz of motorsport is combined with the best of Vegas,” says Sarah.

“We offer up incredible trackside views as well as Vegas inspired entertainment.

“Our three-story experience comes with an exciting variety of interactive activities, gourmet food and drink, live F1 commentary and Team Driver Appearances on every floor.”

Why Do We Host Las Vegas Club?

“Our team Club concept started in Miami in 2022,” Sarah adds.

“We are always striving to offer the best in global sport hospitality and then constantly looking to top that.

“The Las Vegas Club provides our partners and invited guests a unique opportunity for networking, fun and unmatchable trackside viewing.

“We saw an opportunity for a unique race to become unique for us as well and offer something new and totally different. We were super successful in our Club in Miami and saw the opportunity to do something similar in Vegas, which has its own concepts we can lean into – Vegas being a night race, the other side of the continent, the first of its kind where glitz and glam have really come to the streets.

“We see it as a challenge to ourselves. How do we take the pinnacle of hospitality and elevate it even further? Do something no-one has done before, captivate new audiences and engage with elegance.”

How Do We Make Las Vegas Club Happen?

To make it happen we have rented a 2040sqm plot of empty land from the Las Vegas Grand Prix,” explains Sarah.

“We then build a three-story structure on it and fit this out from top to bottom. That includes flooring, walling, power, kitchens, furniture, AV, lighting, décor, dressing, and the activities we offer.

“It takes a 43-strong crew six weeks to set up the floors and garden. That involves unpacking, building, and rigging 20 containers of kit.

She adds: “We have one team member fully dedicated to the Las Vegas programme all year around, and the initial planning starts even earlier. For example, our design, build, projects, and hospitality teams are already looking at 2025, so the work started a long time ago.

“As we get closer to November, more of the team becomes dedicated to that race.

“Vegas requires a lot of commitment from a lot of people a long way in advance. When we get on site trackside on the Monday of race week we will have a team of 50 who are dedicated to making Las Vegas Club the best possible experience.”

What Makes Las Vegas Club So Special?

“We try to give all of our clubs their own special feel, and Las Vegas is no different,” says Sarah.

“We want to bring a local element and feel to each location. In Las Vegas for example we collaborate with Spiegelworld Las Vegas, who create award-winning, live entertainment and experiences on the Las Vegas strip.

“It is about the nightlife of the city brought to life in a Vegas-themed space. Our mixologists, team experiences, our DJs, all that entertainment sort of funnels through our context in Las Vegas and that scene.

“Right the way down to the wallpaper, the lighting, the art on the walls, everything is customised Vegas-style!”

What Makes a Successful Las Vegas Club?

Sarah says: “Success for us is having people say they want to come back next year, having loved it so much and had the best weekend of their lives.

“We want to see people engaged with all the experiences we have on offer within the Club, and enjoying the on-track action, of course.

“We also want to listen to the guests, and take on feedback for future events and years. We want everyone to score us 10 out of 10, but we work indirectly with all attendees to make everything as good as it can be.”
