Ahead of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, IWC Schaffhausen introduces two special performance chronographs
Official Engineering Partner IWC Schaffhausen has today launched two exciting new watches with the help of Lewis and George. The Pilot's Watch Performance Chronograph 41, with dedicated versions for Mercedes-AMG and the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team, has been unveiled ahead of the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
As part of a global advertising campaign, the seven-time World Champion and 2022 São Paulo Grand Prix race winner appear alongside each other in an IWC short movie for the very first time.
"The Pilot's Watch Performance Chronograph 41 combines our extensive know-how in developing industry-leading chronographs with our comprehensive expertise in advanced materials. Both these new chronographs feature ceramic bezels with tachymeter scales, adding the dimension of speed to the highly accurate stop time measurements and making these robust chronographs the perfect companions for people with a dynamic, fast-paced lifestyle," explained Chris Grainger-Herr, CEO of IWC Schaffhausen.
Last year, IWC introduced the Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41 Edition "Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ Team". The official team watch is worn by designers, aerodynamicists, race engineers, strategists, mechanics, and more. Now, IWC has launched this new performance chronograph dedicated to the team.
