I have high expectations; I want to win the F1 Academy championship. My dream, as any other racing driver, is to reach F1 and this is a good first step.

After graduating from karting as a French Champion, Doriane was struggling to find budget to continue racing.
An opportunity emerged though. The Iron Dames project, designed to support women in motorsport, reached out. On offer? A one-day test in a Ferrari GT car. How did this last shot go? Given Doriane is now a member of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Junior Programme, it is fair to say it went well!
It should not be a surprise given the promise Doriane has shown throughout her racing career. She started karting in 2013 and stepped up to the Renault Clio Cup in 2020. The big break with Iron Dames came in early 2021 and led to a full-time racing programme.
Numerous podiums in the Michelin Le Mans Cup followed before title success the following season in the Ferrari Challenge Europe. That year she also won the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps and claimed an historic success in the European Le Mans Series season finale, the Iron Dames’ first victory in the series.
Her meteoric rise continued as she made the jump into the World Endurance Championship LMP2 category.
Alongside team-mates Mirko Bortolotti and former F1 driver Daniil Kvyat, the Prema Racing entry took a podium finish at the 1000 miles of Sebring. Such was Doriane’s performances across the year, she became the very first woman to win the coveted ‘Revelation of the Year’ Award.
Doriane has since switched her attention to single-seaters. Starting with a win and P2 in the standings in the South East Asian F4 Championship in 2023, she then followed that up with a win and P10 overall in the F4 UAE category in 2024.
Her main focus for 2024 was her F1 Academy campaign racing with Prema, where she was a consistent front-runner throughout, scoring three wins and finishing runner-up in the championship. She also complemented her F1 Academy season by racing for Iron Dames in the Formula Regional European Championship.
She continues in F1 Academy and FRECA – this time driving for Prema – in 2025.
Gwen Lagrue, the Team’s Driver Development Advisor, said: "Doriane has enjoyed a very successful first season in single-seaters. Considering the progress she has taken and the experience she now has, we are confident that Doriane can fight for the F1 Academy title in 2025.
"After becoming vice champion in F1 Academy in my maiden season, I am extremely motivated to go for the drivers’ title in 2025."
