The Cars
F1 ACADEMY will use Formula 4 spec single-seater race cars this season, and just like 2024, all 10 F1 teams have an entry on the grid.
Six further entries supported by series sponsors make up the field, in addition to a wildcard at each of the seven races on the calendar.
“To represent our F1 team is an amazing opportunity, and gives us so much visibility,” explains Doriane.
“Being up close to the F1 cars in the paddock helps us grow our understanding of the technical aspect of racing as well.”
Indeed, just being present in the paddock last season gave the series a big boost, a fact not lost on Doriane. “People were interested in the championship, and you could tell their attention was on you. That was massive for us,” she adds.
The Calendar
Seven rounds make up the 2025 F1 ACADEMY calendar, with two races at each event.
Asia, North America, and Europe are all represented on the schedule, with the opening round in Shanghai set to host the series for the first time.
“I am really looking forward to Shanghai,” says Doriane.
“I loved the track in the sim, and it was amazing to drive in real life when we tested there. You can really race there, and it is possible to overtake.
“All of the new tracks on the calendar this year are exciting, it is always great to have something new to learn.
“Learning tracks we would not normally get to drive could be so important for us in the future, when we get into F3 and F2.”
After returning to Jeddah and Miami for rounds two and three, the series will go to Montreal for the first time in June.
After the summer break, Zandvoort and Singapore will again make up the first of three races at the end of the season, before an incredible finale on the streets of Las Vegas to close the season.
